43rd hunt
Spent the afternoon at the picnic area again. Found an assortment of stuff, including 4 and three-quarter silver coins. The ring is light and resembles some sort of mood ring. Was surprised at the shallow depth of the thruppence hardly 3 cms of dirt above it. GL and HH to those that get out this weekend! :)

Well done on the silver, If I remember correctly, the first 3d I dug was barely covered at all, just under a bit of leaf litter.
