Spent a couple hours in Hagley Park this evening with a couple other ChCh detectorists (Andy and Chris).
Started off by pulling up about 3 cans worth of aluminum bits, then got a NZ 1941 penny. After that I noticed another detectorist over the channel from me, and went and said hello. Went back to the area i was searching after a short chat, and found another couple pennys (1940 aus and a 1891 brit) then managed to find a 1935 NZ sixpence and a solo $1 goldie.
It is good to go home with silver eh!
ReplyDeleteFor sure! We each got at least 1 silver item each that night i think ;)
